The First Internation conference of UWFPP condemns the ongoing aggressive and barbaric crimes committed by the murderous Israeli state. The conference expresses its unwavering support and solidarity with the Palestinian people in their just and legitimate struggle for freedom and dignity.
The conference further expresses its solidarity with the Palestinian people and with the peoples of the region in their struggle for sovereignty, liberation, and resistance against aggression on their lands. It calls for strengthening the role of the Arab and international working class in providing steadfast and principled support to the Palestinian people, making it a priority for the global labor movement with a class-based orientation.
The only way to ensure and strengthen peace and security for the peoples of the Middle East is to end the Israeli occupation immediately, dismantle all illegal colonial settlements in the occupied Palestinian territories—as mandated by United Nations resolutions—and establish an independent Palestinian state within the 1967 borders with Jerusalem as its capital, while guaranteeing the right of return for Palestinian refugees forcibly displaced from their homes, in accordance with UN Resolution 194.
The First Internation conference of UWFPP strongly condemns the reckless and provocative statements made by the U.S. President, as well as his plans for the displacement of Palestinians from Gaza, which the Israeli occupation has devastated and rendered uninhabitable. The front reaffirms its unwavering solidarity, on behalf of all its components and member organizations, with the struggle of the Palestinian people and working class for their right to live freely in their homeland. It calls upon workers worldwide to intensify and expand their ongoing struggle in support of the Palestinian people, urging militant labor unions to unite, raise their voices against Israeli-American arrogance, and denounce imperialist hypocrisy.
The First Internation conference of UWFPP also demands the immediate provision of international protection for the Palestinian people in occupied Jerusalem, the West Bank, and the Gaza Strip, particularly in light of the brutal escalation by the Israeli occupation. This includes the military assaults on Palestinian refugee camps and the mass forced displacement of tens of thousands of Palestinians after the destruction of their homes and properties. The front stresses that international protection is now more urgent than ever, calling on all international institutions to assume their immediate responsibilities.
The First Internation conference of UWFPP declares its full and unwavering support for the national rights of the Palestinian people and calls on all countries to recognize the State of Palestine and grant it full UN membership. It firmly rejects any attempts to undermine these rights through projects that contradict international legitimacy, as the U.S. administration seeks to undermine the Palestinian national project and liquidate the Palestinian cause through unilateral initiatives that completely disregard the Palestinian people’s legitimate right to a free, independent, and sovereign state, ending their historical suffering and the national oppression imposed upon them.
