Statement of the Unified Workers’ Front:
Since yesterday, March 18, 2025, the Nazi state of Israel has resumed its aerial and naval bombardment of the people of Gaza, blatantly disregarding the ceasefire agreement it had signed to halt its crimes in the sector. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu justified this violation of the “Gaza Agreement” and the return to committing massacres—resulting in the deaths of over 500 civilians, most of them children, within 24 hours—by citing Hamas’s failure to release hostages.
The claims made by the criminal Netanyahu and the members of his Nazi government about resuming the killing of civilians and destroying what remains of Gaza are entirely false. This Nazi government, which perpetrates crimes against an unarmed people, derives its audacity from American policies, particularly those of President Donald Trump, who has openly proposed the forced displacement of Gaza’s residents. The unconditional support and absolute alignment of the United States with Netanyahu’s government are the primary reasons behind Israel’s evasion of all provisions of the Gaza Agreement.
Furthermore, it is not in the interest of the new Nazi, Benjamin Netanyahu, nor in the interest of the racist and criminal right-wing coalition supporting him in Israel, to stop the crimes in Gaza. Doing so would mean accountability for all those involved in the killing of Palestinians and would bring the Palestinian cause back to the international table, forcing the global community to confront the necessity of a just solution.
The resumption of these heinous crimes is not merely an attempt by Netanyahu to escape prosecution on corruption charges, as some analysts suggest—an interpretation that ultimately reduces the atrocities of the Zionist regime to a personal issue and distracts from the broader system of oppression. Rather, it is part of a genocidal policy adopted by the new Nazis in Israel, backed by the racist and anti-human administration of Donald Trump, aimed at turning Gaza into an uninhabitable wasteland.
On the other hand, the Western states that support Israel passively observe its crimes and violations of the Gaza Agreement, including the prevention of humanitarian aid from entering the territory. Their response is limited to hypocritical political statements, which do not go beyond superficial condemnations—making them complicit in Israel’s policy of bullying and aggression.
The ongoing and unchecked crimes in Gaza are a disgrace to humanity. Their continuation without deterrence raises serious questions about the integrity of human values. Moreover, they expose the falsehood of the official Western rhetoric that boasts of defending human rights while remaining silent in the face of the genocide of the Palestinian people.
We, in the UWFPP, while condemning the ongoing fascist crimes perpetrated by Israel, reaffirm that what is happening is not a war, as Israel claims. The laws of war assume the existence of two warring parties, whereas in Gaza, there is only one aggressor—an unhinged military machine slaughtering innocents, led by a prime minister fleeing international justice and shielded by the American administration, which is deeply complicit in the bloodshed of thousands of children and civilians in Gaza. These people seek nothing but to survive with dignity in an independent state that ends the cycle of racism and unlawful land grabs.
Once again, we emphasize that the global labor and humanitarian front—comprised of labor movements, feminist organizations, student groups, and anti-war activists—is the force capable of stopping the bloodshed in Gaza. The impact of this great front has been evident and tangible, whether through pressuring the International Court of Justice (ICJ) to halt the war, forcing the International Criminal Court (ICC) to issue arrest warrants against Israeli war criminals, securing a temporary ceasefire to allow humanitarian aid, or dismantling Israel’s false narrative, which previously hid its crimes behind allegations of anti-Semitism and “Palestinian terrorism.”
What some Western countries, such as Germany, have done—arresting activists defending the Palestinian people and, more recently, Trump’s administration deporting them—reveals the extent of the influence of this global workers’ front in confronting Israeli crimes and their supporters in the United States and the so-called democratic West.
We, in the UWFPP, call upon workers, labor unions, and humanitarian forces worldwide to escalate their struggle and intensify protests to halt the crimes of this entity that stands against humanity and is a stain on all of humankind.
